Community Choices Waiver (CCW)
Covered service, as the state lists it: Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)
PERS is appropriate for participants that are cognitively and physically able to operate the device and can be particularly helpful for participants residing alone.
Eligibility is decided by the program, not by us; ask your case manager or the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs (GOEA).

The state unit on aging is the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs (GOEA). It is the door for questions about eligibility and about what Louisiana offers.

What Seniors Alert System offers
From $29.95 a month, about $1 a day, up to $49.95. The equipment is a one-time $129 on every plan, paid at checkout or financed. There is no activation fee, and every plan is 30 days risk-free.
